Founder & President

Louis’ clients are public company executives and retirees. With a focus on long-term goals, he has guided them through many market cycles, including the current pandemic of 2020.

The cornerstone of his relationships is built on trust and advice.

He created an approach called the 5 Step Process based on how he would like to work with an advisor if he was a prospective client. Louis feels “The process would allow me to get to know the advisor in a short period of time without a big commitment up front”.

Louis started in the financial services business in 1988. After many years of working with various brokerage firms and insurance companies, he started his own firm with an established client base in 2015.

Louis’s designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) indicates that he has achieved a level of education, experience,  and ethics requirement his clients can trust. The CFP® designation requires that Louis act in the best financial interest of his clients.

Louis and his wife Michelle live in the Philadelphia suburbs and lead active lives. After raising their two children, they look forward to spending more of their free time traveling.

Carol Harlow CFP®

Client Services Associate

Carol is a Client Services associate providing financial planning and operational support. She has over 20 years in the financial services industry with direct client involvement as a financial advisor. In addition, Carol has held the position of Compliance officer at her last firm which made her responsible for regulatory policies and procedures. Carol holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation which indicates she has achieved a level of education, experience and ethics requirements clients can trust. Carol has participated in leadership roles at her local chapter of the Financial Planning Association, which is a worldwide organization for CFP® professionals. Carol and her husband live in Venice, Florida. They both enjoy riding their tandem bike around South Florida and beyond.

Lorena Gonzalez

Administrative Assistant

Lorena is an experienced administrative assistant providing operational support for Butera Wealth Management. She is responsible for customer service, compliance, paperwork/documentation, account maintenance, and managing our calendars. She has in-depth experience with Redtail CRM software and LPL Financials’ technology. Lorena and her husband live in Chattanooga, TN. She is a runner and enjoys participating in local races. Lorena is also bilingual in both English and Spanish.
